Online Course: Introduction to Behaviour-in-Systems

Curriculum
A straightforward, hands-on introduction to the Behaviour-In-Systems approach.
By completing the course, participants will be able to:
- Distinguish between simple, complicated and complex problems
- Describe the outcomes, actors, behaviours and influences in any complex system
- Describe the process of running a Behaviour in Systems project
- Use behavioural science models (including the COMB model) to understand what drives key behaviours
- Understand the basic features of a Behaviour-In-Systems map, including causal links and feedback loops
- Interpret existing causal loop diagrams (systems maps)
- Identify the most promising leverage points to bring about change within a complex system

- Delivered online
- 5 short modules combining brief inputs, practical exercises, group work and worked examples
- Option to use your own live challenges as cases, tailored to your context (e.g. workforce, service design, inequalities, sustainability)
